BMGT301- Introduction to Information Systems

Overview of information systems, including the basic concepts of analyzing and designing information systems for business applications. Utilizes aspects of data management to create a personal website using HTML and CSS. Introduces modern information systems infrastructure, including telecommunications, networks, and information systems security. Provides in depth tutorials and assignments in Microsoft Excel to expand Excel skills and knowledge.

BMGT302 - Designing Applications For Business Analytics

Introduces structured programming with business applications, programming logic, and data structures. The course especially emphasizes hands-on exercises using Excel macros and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in order to help companies organize their data and search through it to for faster analysis and to come to easier conclusions. The course mainly covers business functions and analytics.

BMGT380 - Business Law

Introduces legal aspects of different types of business relationships. Examines torts and business crimes, contracts, and agency. Informs future business employees about what can and cannot be done as well as the rules for entering contracts and what makes a contract void or voidable. Analyzes the law of personal property, bailment relationships, and public policy issues.

BMGT340 - Business Finance

Informs students on topics such as the principles and practices involved in an organization, financing and rehabilitation of business enterprises, securities and their use in raising funds, apportioning income, risk and control, intercorporate relations, and new developments. Provides possible solutions to problems of financial policy. 

ENGL394 - Business Writing

Utilizes intensive practice in the forms of written communication common in the business world. Teaches how to properly write letters, memos, resumes, short reports, and proposals. The principles of rhetoric and effective style are also introduced to help make business papers stand out and be more effective.

BMGT484 - Digital Marketing

Analyzes how to develop and implementing certain strategies to create a successful marketing campaign through digital means. Digital marketing can include the web, social media, and mobile apps. This is a very powerful tool in today's society so it is important to learn how to utilize and analyze it well.
